i choose peace and love
i am not in anyway suggesting that anyone can ignore the past. because it is an important make-up of who we are etc. we can embrace the past, right or wrong, and learn from it. we as human beings have the choice whether we want that to have a positive outcome or negative. regardless, we learn from our past actions. humanity, has created the most horrendous of actions in its' past. on the other hand, humans have also created the most wonderful and beautiful moments of harmony and life. so where do we stand? it is up to us to make that difference every single day, and to be able to teach tolerance and acceptance even in the face of overwhelming adversity.
i for one, am always reminded of the one man standing before an advancing army of tanks in tienanmen square in china, 1986. if one person could do that, imagine what one million could do, or a billion.
