it has been called to my attetion that under new anti-terror laws in australia, i may be in big trouble for blogging. apparently under these "sedition" laws my opinions, insights, ideas, and everything on my blog could be held accountable in a court of law. yeah? well so what! even if it is true, it does not change the fact that the prime minister of australia, john howard, is a liar, a midget, and has absolutely no common sense. his entire cabinet is stacked full of fellow conspirators; phil ruddock, alexander downer, amanda vanstone, tony abbot, bronwyn bishop, and peter costello, just to name a few of the idiots. plus being the whipping boy for the moron president of america, bush jr., john howard simply makes himself look bad. his actions speak louder than my words, and the words of millions of other bloggers in australia alone.
am i afraid of getting in trouble for speaking my mind? NO. i have been doing just that for about 31 years now and i have to admit, at times it has gotten me in trouble. but i say fuck the rules. fuck this anti-expression law. there are some very small minded people in this world who try to rule through fear. well i for one am not afraid. this whole issue sort of reminds me of the childrens rhyme- sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me. no one ever got killed by talking.
