The Word B

well there is only about 7 and 3/4 hours left in 2005 for sydney australia. everyone else may have to wait a little longer for their fireworks to go off and to spread the love around. looking back and reflecting in my year a few major things have occured in my life (if you have been keeping up with the blog you would know most, and if you haven't then read away) all of which i would have to say have been pretty huge moments for me- becoming a home owner and going back to university being the biggest two. when i look back and consider world events of the past year, the story is a bit different. war is still going on in the middle east, and natural disasters are occuring everywhere. in the world leader department the outlook is continually grim, america is still stuck with bush jr., australia is jinxed with john howard, israel is cursed with sharon, russia is kaput with putin, and california still has that meat head arnold as the governator. if it wasn't real life, you would have to laugh at the joke.
but hey, this is not a time to lament or get upset about it all. instead the plan is to ply myself with drugs and alcohol and pretend everything is just great. we are off to a picnic on a headland overlooking sydney harbour and will watch the fire works. happy new year and bring on 2006.
