The Word B

this is now 5 weeks old, so i am sure that frijole (the name we have given the little critter) is now twice the size. but i am pleased to present you with my favorite and only photo of frijole. so this time, if all goes according to plan, there will be a little baby in our lives and the family of 2 will increase 50% and become a family of 3. i am terribly excited. we do not want to "find out" what we are going to have. people have asked us why not? my personal opinion, is that i would rather meet the little person face to face and not allow technology to intervene. i know we had this first ultra sound done, but it is for very relevant reasons considering my own health history. but i am enjoying the suspense and speculation. knowing the sex of the child seems to take a lot of the fun out of the game. either way, i am going to love the person. girl or boy, i don't care. i only want a healthy child.
holy shit. i am going to be a father! which conjures up all these crazy thoughts and some anxieties. this is brand new territory for me. although i am sure that i will be fine. after all, there are some very unintelligent people in the world that have produced full grown mental midgets of their own.
