i have not been on this site for a few days. i have been too invovled in the celebrations.
first off, i finished with my university course and completed my diploma in secondary education. basically, that means i can teach in high school. yeah. secondly, and most importantly, i have been enjoying the after-election-glow of seeing the bitch slapping the republican party and mainly bush jr. has taken in the wake of last tuesday's elections. finally, americans have come to their senses. although, most americans were already fully awake for the past six years, except perhaps the idiots of florida or the morons of ohio. for a good little laugh and a gut wrenching cry have a read of this website, giving a brief but painfully acurate description of the mental midget who is at the helm of american politics, and therefore steering the world in the worst possible direction. i had read it years ago. everytime i read it i begin to laugh and then i cry.
well at least politics in america will become interesting over the next two years rather than insultingly frustrating.
not to be outdone by the senator foley fiasco in florida, the new south wales government of australia has hit a even lower level in the sex with children category. this saga has apparently been 10 years in the making. it makes the ted haggards of the world look like pathetically boring hypocrites. ted even has his own website. there is even a "how to page" for buying methamphetemines and soliciting male prostitutes, with sub-clauses on how to still get into heaven. this story still makes me laugh. i swear it is impossible for the best hollywood writers to make up stuff this good.
